The Home Inspection Board (“HIB”) wants you to enroll with confidence. Because the certification course is a digital product delivered in full immediately on purchase, the following refund terms apply.

14-day satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the HIB Certification Program for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — provided you have not yet completed more than three (3) module quizzes. After three module quizzes have been submitted, we consider the course to have been substantially consumed.

How to request a refund

Email inspectready32@gmail.com with:

  • Your full name as it appears on the order
  • Your order number (sent in your purchase confirmation email)
  • The email address you used to register
  • A brief note about your reason for the refund (optional but helpful)

We typically process refund requests within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe. Once initiated, your bank may take an additional 5-10 business days to post the credit to your account.

After 14 days

After the 14-day window has closed, the purchase is non-refundable. You retain lifetime access to the course materials, all quizzes, and the final exam — so you can complete the program on your own schedule.

Failed final exam

If you do not pass the final comprehensive exam on your first attempt, no refund is due — you are entitled to unlimited free retakes. The exam is open-book and untimed by design, and the same exam fee never gets re-charged.

Promo / discount codes

Orders placed using a promo code (for example HIB20) are refundable under the same 14-day terms. The refund will be issued for the actual amount paid, not the pre-discount price.

Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us first if you have a concern with your purchase. Initiating a chargeback through your bank before contacting us may result in immediate revocation of your course access and may incur additional dispute fees.
